For collectors of beautiful wolf artwork, Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood is sponsoring a Wolf Appreciation Day on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Bear Barn Art Gallery. Special gate admission for this day only will be $5 for all ages and 4 years and younger are free.
There will be over 100 unique and one of a kind wolf products for sale at 50 percent off as a fundraiser for wildlife at the Park. Wolf items include collectible plates with certificate of authenticity limited edition from Bradford Exchange and Lenox, signed prints, photographs, figurines, photo and story books and other must see wolf and wildlife items. Come early to get the best selection.
The day will also include behind the scenes tour of the Park’s newest arrivals – 2 wolf hybrids, Heidi & Walter, and Koshari, 500 pound black bear. This is a great time to visit the native wildlife zoo because the weather is cooler and the animals are more active. Get eye to eye with cougars, see 4 young grey foxes who love to climb trees, listen to the bugling elk, and more. Plus free food, drink and parking. It is fun for the entire family.
