Havana Nights New Year's Eve Celebration at the Hotel Andaluz, Albuquerque, NM

The Champagne cork pops at midnight at this downtown historic hotel, restored to its former glory and now on the National Register of Historic Places. Spend the night dancing to the music of Melodious Groove, DJ Sidekick and DJ Alissa Diving. Celebrate the dawn of a new year with a glass of bubbly. After the party, you can stay for the night, and if you have the New Year’s Eve package brunch the next day is included.

The Lodge Resort & Spa, Cloudcroft, NM

At more than 9,000 feet above sea level, this resort may be a trek to get to, but once there its elegance and rustic charm will make you want to stay. Their New Year’s Eve party takes place in the Pavilion, a roomy venue with a wood-burning stove and open patio. Beginning at 9pm, local band Rosewater Blues will play a line-up of favorites well into the wee hours of the new year. Free snacks, goodies, a cash bar, and Champagne toasts will be on the ballot!

Taos New Year’s Eve Celebration, Taos, NM

The town plaza comes alive at this family-friendly celebration. The Mayor and his family will roast a pig—dinner is free to the community and visitors. A balloon release happens at 9 p.m., Times Square countdown at 10 p.m. and a final fireworks spectacle, put on by the Taos Volunteer Fire Department, blasts everyone into the new year. There’s plenty of live music throughout the evening. It’s all free, even the parking!

New Year's Celebration at The Edge, Fruitland, NM

This celebration sure packs a punch! There will be party favors, a balloon drop, contests, and much more. Have you always dreamed of being an urban cowboy? Here’s your chance to show off your urban cowboy style at the Urban Cowboy Lookalike Contest. Dance to live music from the local band, Native Journey. Be one of the first 219 people to arrive and you’ll get a free t-shirt.

New Years Celebration at Eldo Taphouse, Santa Fe, NM

Disco is back! At least for one evening. Put on your favorite bell bottom pants, halter-top, and platform shoes and dance the night away under the spinning disco ball. Prizes awarded to the best costumes from the 70s. Champagne and free non-alcoholic drinks from the bar. It all happens indoors in The Bridge.

Roaring 20's New Year's Eve Ball at Hotel Encanto, Las Cruces, NM

Celebrate in style at this Heritage Hotel’s Black & White New Year’s Eve Ball. The fun takes place from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Live music with Frequenzia, a Latin and classic rock band, plus DJ Robert Bailon, and DJ Flipz will be keeping the night in motion. Hors d’oeuvres throughout the night, a champagne toast at midnight, and continental breakfast at 1 a.m. all help to keep revelers carefree into the new year.

New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks at The Lift House, Red River, NM

This family ski town is party central on New Year’s Eve. After the sun sets, a traditional Torchlight Parade takes off down The Face, a shimmering see of lights gliding down the mountain. Next up is a blast of fireworks that sparkles over the glistening snowy slopes. Stop by The Lift House for a late-night meal and usher in 2019 with friends and family.
