Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum Cowboy Days

Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum Cowboy Days
4100 Dripping Springs Road

Cowboy Days is the Museum's annual tribute to New Mexico's ranching traditions.

The Education Department stages the Junior Cowpoke experience in the Museum courtyard and a cowboy-themed time travel in the Horse and Cattle Barn.

The Junior Cowpoke Experience enables children to learn about the tools and clothes of cowboys and practice such important skills as roping, branding and leather stamping.

The cowboy-themed time travels are historical performances where visitors become part of the living history. Cowboy Days' time travels have featured an 1880 homesteader's camp, an 1895 wedding, a 1936 birthday party, and an 1898 funeral.
