The Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees began in 2008 as the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation’s signature holiday fundraiser. Today, the festival is a holiday tradition in Albuquerque, and the largest festival of trees in the state of New Mexico.

This is a three-day event. We kick off the event with a Tree Lighting Gala on Friday night, the following two days are free to attend and offers something magical for both children and adults. More than 10,000 people visit the event each year and have the opportunity to purchase and view beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, enjoy holiday entertainment by school choirs, bands, and local professional musicians. Children can get their picture taken with Santa, and the whole family can make holiday crafts. 100% of the Proceeds from the Festival of Trees supports the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation’s programs for children with disabilities across New Mexico.
