Since opening in 2003, Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro has established itself as one of Albuquerque's signature restaurants. Zinc offers a formal yet relaxed atmosphere where diners can enjoy a quick bite with a glass of wine or settle in for a truly exquisite dining experience. With its numerous wines by the glass, full bar, top-notch service, and high quality - yet affordable - American bistro fare, Zinc has somethingto offer everyone.

Warm colors, stained glass, and fresh cut flowers greet guests as they enter the dining room. The zinc top bar beckons one to sit for a cocktail, while tables on the main floor and the mezzanine invite diners to enjoy a more intimate meal. For those looking for an exciting show, the exhibition bar offers seats right along the open kitchen. From here, diners can watch the kitchen execute the menu designed by the creative mind of Chef Chris Pope. Bistro classics such as steak frites and French onion soup are served alongside unique seasonal creations like smoked trout on potato pancakes and seabass over a chilled noodle salad.

The Cellar Bar at Zinc offers the same extensive wine list, premium martinis and ice- cold beers as
the upstairs, but in a more casual, intimate lounge atmosphere. The menu is more casual, too, with a variety of appetizers and sandwiches perfectly suited to accompany any cocktail. The Main Dining room can accommodate 120 guests, while the Cellar Bar holds 85. Both areas are smoke free, and both are availablefor private functions. Zinc is located in historic Nob Hill at 3009 Central Avenue NE on the north sideof the street between the Lobo Theater and the Buffalo Exchange.
