What an amazing place to take engagement photos. I think you need permission and it's a small fee. Time of year is everything for the plants outside. Still fantastic to see the ducks and wildlife as you walk around the gardens. I highly recommend good shoes and a few hours to stroll around and enjoy everything. Stuff for the young kids to do. Drive the trains with a push off a button. Lots of interactive crawl on stuff as you walk around through the different parts of the castle. The aquarium is in the same parking lot and worth a visit too.

Buy a ticket of aquarium and botanical garden. The price varies for each category, we paid 15$ each. We were late to buy the combo - aquarium, garden & zoo.you have to buy them before 1.00pm. The garden is good and just walk through it. There is a small pond, mini rail- kids will love. It's very big . They have Mediterranean and dessert green house .

I love coming here. amazing in spring and summer. love butterfly exhibit every year. love also the lights in winter. I'm here multiple times a month with family. not too expensive either besides food prices. food over priced for quality and sizes.

Nice to visit for a place to clear your head, not that great for seeing marine wildlife. This is a desert so I wasn't really expecting to see too much. I think January is definitely not the peak season so maybe summer months would be better? They had construction going on so that is a good sign for the future visitors...

Very solid botanical park that is co-located with the aquarium. A train runs between the park complex and the zoo so you can make a day out of your visit. The park has lovely water features and hosts live music events throughout the year so I encourage you to check the park's website for a schedule. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon for the young and the young at heart.
