About Us:

Known as the City of Santa Fe’s finest municipal golf course since 1998, Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe offers a spectacular golf experience with inspirational 360 degree panoramic views that surround the Sangre de Cristos, Jemez, Ortiz and Sandia mountains. Located eight miles west of the historical downtown district, our year-round, four season weather permitting course, offers golf sport enthusiasts of all ages a spectacular golf experience showcasing exceptional customer service, exclusive low rates and full service amenities. Partake in the championship 18-hole course, 35-station all-grass driving range, practice greens, putting area and a par 3 course ranked “top three big little course in the United States” by Travel + Leisure Magazine.

The spectacular, natural southwestern surroundings make Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe an unparalleled golf experience, showcasing Santa Fe’s rustic style at its finest. It’s championship 18 hole course and par 3 course, named “The Great 28” were designed by Baxter Spann, a master landscape architect known for designing stunning, “links” style  golf courses that attract golfers of all skill levels. The course is set among native cottonwood, juniper and piñon trees, as well as other desert flora such as yucca, chamiso and cholla. You may also see local residents like owls, coyotes, jackrabbits, and roadrunners, the official state bird while playing the course.

Amidst the desert landscaping and framed by native pinon trees, the championship 18 hole course has five sets of tees ranging from forward tees of 5025 yards to the championship test of 7272 yards from the back tees. The Great 28 is perfect for practicing your short game or is a great course to play a quick round of golf or  a game of “FootGolf”.  Santa Fe’s average of 300 days of sunshine per year offers the golf sport enthusiasts to play a round of golf in the heat of June or the chill of January. It’s perfect for fundraising tournaments and businesses who wish to hold company outings, as well as non-profit and charity organization events.

Nestled in a small town feel, the City’s municipal golf course shines from the splendors and unique style Santa Fe has been known for. Between the majestic views and quietness of the desert environment, you’ll feel like you’re really getting away from it all. Our award winning staff and PGA certified teaching professionals strive to deliver exceptional customer service and to honor the legacy of Marty Sanchez as “Santa Fe’s Golf Course of Choice!”
